... love hurricanes.

I know that Hurricane Earl didn't do shit in the area, but I'm glad for the weather it gave us. It's cool and sunny and breezy and perfect, and my drive home was gorgeous. It would have been perfect, but for my iPod dying and my Insomnia cassette being warped and unlistenable. And there are only so many times you can listen to Baba O'Reilly. I definitely need more cassettes in my car.
On a completely unrelated topic: I had a wonderful Friday in general, as most of my classes were cancelled and I had a baller sleepover with Cassandra, Carly, and Adam. I drove myself home around 2 and had dinner with my family, then turned around and drove up to Eastern for the night. I really like the people I met there, all the men were fun, crazy, and above all, respectful. All the ladies were preoccupied with the kitten.
Molly stumbled home around four, and Ava and I had already commandeered her bed. Poor thing crashed on the floor for a few hours before Ava and I woke up and took off back to Clinton.
Now, I'm preparing for a night at my dad's place, hopefully something of a mini-party, and waiting for my brother to get off work. I really miss my dad and stepmom, so I'm looking forward to this immensely.
